Van Driver

Department: ARS - Administration
Location: Ephrata, PA

We are hiring a Part Time Van Driver!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible morning hours (20 hours/week)

ARS Treatment Centers specialize in outpatient treatment of those addicted to opiates. Our clinic is one of ten locations in the mid-Atlantic region that provides specialized outpatient services through medication-assisted treatment.

Position Description

The Van Driver is responsible for transporting ARS patients to and from designated pick-up and drop-off locations in a timely and safe manner. The Van Driver must have strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and a valid driver’s license. In addition to driving skills and experience, this individual needs to possess strong communication and customer service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pick up passengers from set locations as per schedule
  • Drive passengers to clinic
  • Obey all traffic laws – vehicle is electronically and visually monitored
  • Converse with the passengers in a pleasant and courteous manner
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance to include keeping vehicle clean and in good working order
  • Maintain and update all documentation forms, logs and paperwork required
  • Keep track of fuel usage
  • Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot
  • Ensures the adherence to ARS policies & procedures

Qualifications

  • Valid PA Drivers License required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong driving skills and clean driving record
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Good communication and de-escalation techniques
